“I believe the therapeutic relationship is the most important part of therapy.”

Lauren Azbill, LMFT

I am originally from Los Angeles, CA. I moved to Minnesota in 2013. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and am specifically trained on understanding relationships within the family system. I love working with those who struggles with relationship issues, specifically related to relational trauma in childhood. I also enjoy working with transplants as I understand the complexity of moving to a different place and the adjustment that takes place. Lastly, I enjoy helping those who struggle with disordered thoughts and behaviors related to food/body image.

I offer a warm, interpersonal, person-centered approach that helps those feel comfortable when in session.
— Lauren Azbill, LMFT, Founder Envision Counseling

I believe in longer term therapy where we address all the wounded parts of the past and begin to heal from them. I live by the words uncover, discover, discard. We will learn how to ask the unhelpful parts to move aside and have our more functional parts step forward.

What to Expect

We start with a 60-minute assessment and evaluation that helps me to determine what is needed to best support you. A treatment plan is created to address your specific needs and ways to go about creating change. After the first session, we meet for individual, couple or family psychotherapy sessions lasting 50-60 minutes. We will meet you where you are at and will work collaboratively together.
