TYPES OF THERAPY


 

individual

This process begins with completing the patient registration forms. We will meet together for 60 min and discuss what brings you here and what you would like to be different.

 

couple

This process begins with the couple filling out each of their own patient registration forms. We will assess what the problem is and how to move forward. I use a variety of couple’s therapy interventions from Emotion Focused Therapy and Relational Life Therapy.

 

FAMILY

This process will begin with meeting with all members of the family unit. We will each share our concerns, goals and hopes for family therapy. Sessions are typically 60 - 90 minutes in length.

group

Coming soon! I offer a process group for those who would like to work on interpersonal relationships and/or giving or receiving interpersonal feedback. This differs from a support or skills group in that it is about challenging and helping each other in the here and now.


 
 

I love being a therapist. I am passionate about this work and my clients. I am trained in Pia Mellody’s Post Induction Therapy which focuses on healing relational trauma. I primarily work out of this modality and have found it to be extremely helpful both to myself and my clients.
